Fallen Tree Press is a small press specializing in publishing poetry chapbooks. We are focused on being part of the larger writing community. It’s our intent to promote a diverse group of writers, especially those identifying as women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and members of underserved groups. Whenever possible, a portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to charity. The charities will be selected in conjunction with the authors.

We are closed to submissions. See our submissions page for our guidelines: https://fallentreepress.com/submissions

Announcing our chapbooks for 2024!

Our submissions in January 2024 were so amazing, we picked two! We are very pleased to announce Blood Quantum & Other Hate Crimes by Marsheila Rockwell and Mundane Things by Kateema Lee. In Blood Quantum, Métis poet Marsheila Rockwell gives us a “howl of defiance against erasure” (Chris La Tray), exploring life in the in-between. In Mundane Things, Kateema Lee guides us to the heart of everyday life. Both of these chapbooks tell you things you didn’t know you needed to hear. Don’t miss these books by two fantastic poets. Keep an eye out for pre-orders opening for Blood Quantum in June, 2024 and Mundane Things in August, 2024.
