Our First Book

Fallen Tree Press’s first book, Portraits of Life: An Ekphrastic Anthology, has been released. This chapbook combines the artwork of April M. Rimpo and Elaine Weiner-Reed with poems from some of the top poets in the Maryland-DC-Virginia area, including M. Lee Adamz, Clifford Bernier, Ann Bracken, Pamela Brunell, Angela H. Dale, Scot Ehrhardt, Hiram Larew, Kari Ann Martindale, Ann Quinn, Patti Ross, and Terri Simon. This full-color chapbook captures the relationships between the poetry and the paintings and serves as a celebration of collaboration. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Poor People’s Campaign and the Maryland Food Bank.
