Coming Soon – Mount Fuji, 36 Sonnets by Jay Hall Carpenter

We’re hard at work on our next chapbook, which I think you will love. “Mount Fuji, 36 Sonnets” by Jay Hall Carpenter contemplates life, death, love, and artisanship. Through the poems, Jay explores and expands the form of the Shakespearean sonnet. The collection is an homage to the book, 36 Views of Mount Fuji by Katsushika Hoskusai (1760-1849), a collection of woodcuts published in the 1830s. Jay is one of our favorite writers and he is also a fantastic sculptor. Look for this great collection in time for the December holidays.
